Overview
HardwareZone Events promoted technology and its benefits across print, online and on-ground events, aiming to be the go-to guide to IT lifestyle for HardwareZone, the leading tech magazine in the Asia Pacific.
In 2009, HardwareZone brought Jonathan on to build the website for its events business, covering web design, front-end and back-end development. The same team also built client sites for Oracle Philippines, Trevally Boats, ASUS and Acer.
What Jonathan did
- Designed multiple homepages, headers and footers
- Custom WordPress theme, with the back end built around the team's needs
- Custom portfolio pages for magazines, websites and events
- PHPList newsletter integration inside WordPress
- Flash player for magazine-style layouts
- Custom contact form connected to the database
