Overview
A tool that helps investors find an investing solution and recommends an asset allocation to meet their needs. Whether they need a little help or a lot, they come away with a plan they can put to work the same day.
Reusable site-wide elements (buttons, grid layouts, forms, tooltips and overlays) built with E*TRADE's designers, product managers and back-end developers.
What Jonathan did
- Front-end development in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and XSL
- Overlay and modal components
- Dynamic page content, meta titles and descriptions
- A shared class and HTML structure for buttons, links and overlays
Challenges
- Full functionality in Internet Explorer 8
- A complex application with different logic and scenarios for each of its three solutions
